Build better Commander decks.
A free Magic: The Gathering Commander deck builder for your phone. Build your list, then see how it measures up against what the rest of the format is actually playing — inclusion rates, curve, bracket and table results, in one app.
Free, no ads, no account, nothing behind a paywall — and it stays that way. It runs on donations: buy me a coffee on Ko‑fi.
What it does
- Deck builderBuild and edit 100-card decks with live singleton checks, colour identity validation and a mana curve that updates as you go. Partners, Backgrounds and Doctor’s companions are handled properly.
- Commander insightsFor any commander, the cards other players actually run — grouped by what they do in the deck, with real inclusion rates and the sample size behind each one, so you can tell a staple from a rounding error. The numbers come from Commandeck’s own nightly crawl of published decks, not from a screenshot of someone else’s site.
- Deck analysisYour curve against the average deck for your commander, ranked suggestions for what you are missing, and where you are overloaded — with the number of decks each comparison is drawn from.
- Bracket 1–5An honest read of your own list against the five signals that define the brackets: game changers, tutors, extra turns, mass land denial and two-card combos — naming the exact cards that moved the needle.
- Opening handDraw test hands under London mulligan rules, with exact hypergeometric odds for keeping, flooding and screwing. No simulation noise: the real numbers.
- Card searchThe full Scryfall catalogue, with new sets and recently printed cards surfaced as they release.
- Published decksBrowse real lists built for your commander, straight from Archidekt — sorted by most viewed, newest or recently updated, each with its declared bracket, colour breakdown and tags. Open one and read it card by card, or save it as a starting point.
- Table resultsHow a commander actually performs when people sit down and play: win rate, Elo, salt and fun ratings, its leading win condition and a sixteen-week popularity trend, from playgroup.gg.
- Prices where you buyEvery card links out to Cardmarket, TCGplayer or Card Kingdom, picked to match where you are, so you can price a build without leaving the deck.
- Yours, on your deviceNo account, no sign-up and no ads. Your decks live on your phone and never leave it, and a deck you have already opened stays readable without a connection.
Support the project
Commandeck is free, and it is going to stay free. It has no company behind it, no investors and no ads — just donations and my evenings.
All of it is mine to keep running: the deck builder, the crawler that gathers play data every night, the hypergeometric maths behind the opening hands, the servers the commander data sits on. If the app saved you time, a coffee keeps it going.
To be clear about what it does not buy: nothing in the app is locked behind it, no feature is reserved for supporters, and nothing ever will be. Commandeck is free because it should be.

Questions or bug reports
Write to ferry.applications@gmail.com. Reports of a card that renders wrong, a rule the builder gets wrong, or a commander with bad data are all welcome.
Who makes this
Commandeck is built by one person. I am an Android developer, I have been playing Commander for years, and I got tired of brewing with a browser on one screen, a spreadsheet on the other and three tabs of inclusion rates in between. So I built the thing I kept wishing existed.
